Sand Media Filters

Lee Rain’s double-chamber quartzite sand filter is designed for effective water filtration from sources such as wells, lakes, and rivers. It efficiently removes impurities, including algae, organic matter, sand, clay, and other particulates.

For water containing sand particles larger than 75 microns, it is recommended to use a hydrocyclone sand separator as a pre-filter to enhance performance. Additionally, it is always advisable to pair the system with a screen or disk filter at the output for optimal filtration efficiency.
